The President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan he told his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky that the Russian-Ukrainian peacekeepers talks held in Istanbul earlier in the week gave a “substantial boost” to efforts to end it war in Ukraine.
In a telephone conversation between the two leaders today, Erdogan reiterated his proposal for a meeting of Zelensky with Vladimir Putin in Turkey, refers to the announcement of the Turkish presidency, which is referred to by APEMPE.
Zelensky, for his part, thanked Erdogan – “a true friend of Ukraine” – for his willingness to provide security guarantees in the country.
