Erdogan’s telephone communication with Pakistan’s Prime Minister for tensions in relations with India

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Pakistan Sahbaz Sarif on the intensity of India and Pakistan. According to the Turkish Presidency’s contact address, Tayyip Erdogan expressed Ankara’s solidarity with Islamabad and stated that Turkey supports “Pakistani’s calm and restrained policy”, as well as his proposal for impartiality, of the Indian administration of Jamo and Kashmir, where 26 tourists were assassinated. The Turkish president said his country is ready to do whatever it is possible to prevent the escalation of tension and that it will continue its diplomatic contacts in this direction. Source: RES
