The balance of employment flows was positive in February, according to the data of the Information System “ERGANI”.
In particular, during the last month the recruitment announcements amounted to 153,768 while the departures to 138,579 (68,398 voluntary departures and 70,181 terminations of indefinite contracts or expiration of fixed-term contracts). Therefore, the balance of February was positive by 15,189 jobs.
In the two months of January – February the recruitment announcements amounted to 291,751 and the departures reached 302,366 (162,271 terminations of indefinite contracts or expiration of fixed-term contracts and 140,095 voluntary departures). Thus, the balance of employment flows in the first two months of the year was negative by 10,615 jobs, as in January the departures were more than the recruitments mainly due to the restrictive measures taken at that time to protect public health.
