Accelerated images released by the Filipino Institute of Vulcanology and Seismology (Phivivols) captured the eruption of the Kanlaon of the Philippines on Tuesday (8).
The video shows a column of thick smoke rising approximately four kilometers in the sky and moving to southwest.
The institute also released a video recorded with a thermal camera, which showed hot gas currents and volcanic material falling in waterfall through the south of the volcano.

The rash started at 5:51 (local time) according to a publication in the XVivolcs Official Account, which maintained an alert level 3 on the volcano, warning of potential additional explosive activity.

Although most local residents have already been removed last year in anticipation of the rash, the authorities asked residents near the volcano to remain on alert and avoid the permanent danger area of four kilometers.
