The fugitives are Deibson Cabral Nascimento It is Rogério da Silva Mendonça both from Acre.
The Penitentiary registered the first escape in the history of the federal penitentiary system, which brings together five maximum security buildings.
In a note, the Ministry of Justice informed that Secretary André Garcia, of the National Secretariat for Penal Policies (Senappen), is on his way to Mossoró to investigate the facts and determine who is responsible for what happened.
“The Federal Police were called by the Ministry of Justice and Public Security and are taking all necessary measures to recapture the fugitives and investigate the circumstances of their escape,” said the ministry.
