The Italian The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided to deport two senior officials of the Russian embassy in Rome, it became known by the Italian authorities, reports APE.
The decision is connected with the arrest, last Tuesday, night, of an Italian lieutenant of the country’s navy, who, according to the carabinieri, handed over secret documents to the military escort of the Russian embassy in Rome in a parking lot of the Italian capital.
According to the leaks, part of the documents allegedly concern Italian telecommunication systems, while the specific Italian military, according to the press, had been funded in the past by Russians colleagues receiving 4,000 euros for providing confidential information.
