The Public Real Estate Company SA (ETAD) announces the announcement of the electronic Open Bidding (e-auction), through the electronic platform of ETAD www.e-publicrealestate.gr for the long-term lease of its tourist property Oceanida in Vouliagmeni Coast.
It is worth noting that ETAD, after a long legal dispute for more than a decade, in which the suspension of the courts due to the pandemic also contributed, was acquitted by the Athens Court of Appeals, thus ending the long-term encroachment on its property. expelling its arbitrary possessors and regaining control of Oceanida a few days ago. In this way it became possible to announce the present tender for the development of the property for the benefit of the tourist development of the area.
Oceanida is an emblematic building, inside the Vouliagmeni Coast, in a very privileged position with stunning views, in one of the most beautiful parts of the Athenian Riviera, which has associated its name with the modern history of the Attica coastline.
This is an original and influential work of the distinguished architects Pr. Vassiliadis, P. Sakellariou, Em. Voureka and their collaborator N.P. Hatzimichali designed in the early 60’s.
The property to be rented consists of a land area of 2,725 sq.m., within which is the cafe-restaurant “Oceanida” which is developed on three levels, with a total area of 1,127.20 sq.m., as well as a small house of 27.20 sq.m. .μ. According to the Energy Performance Certificate, the property is included in the energy category C ‘.
The purpose of the competition is the development of a tourism and / or food business in accordance with the provisions in force in the region and its energy upgrade. The duration of the lease is provided for 10 years, with the possibility of extension for an additional 10 years, upon agreement of ETAD with the contractor.
The Tender will be conducted in accordance with the Rules of Leases, Leases, Concessions, Sellings, Exchanges, Purchases and Contributions of ETAD.

It is noted that the registration of the interested parties in the electronic platform is a condition for participation in the Competition.
Deadline and place of submission of the Document File of the tender, is set on Thursday, July 28, 2022, 14:00 Greek time, at the offices of ETAD SA, Parliament 7 Syntagma, Athens (2nd floor – Protocol). The date of electronic submission of the financial offer will be announced to the participants who will successfully pass the stage of checking participation documents.
