According to the latest price bulletin from the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), ethanol fell for the third consecutive week, reaching R$4.79. In the week of January 16th to 22nd, fuel was costing R$ 5.05, since then, records have all been down. From the last week to the current week, fuel fell by 2.8%.
Gasoline also registered a slight drop in the national average price and reached R$ 6.61 in the current week. In the week of January 30th to February 5th, fuel cost R$ 6.63. Rio de Janeiro was the state with the highest average price verified, with gasoline costing R$ 7.20. This year, the state surpassed the BRL 8 barrier for the first time.
This week, according to the ANP, the average price of cooking gas in the country grew by R$0.20, reaching R$102.47, compared to the R$102.27 recorded in the previous week. In the last four weeks, fuel has remained in the range of R$ 102.
The average price of Natural Gas Vehicular (CNG) was R$ 4.54, just R$ 0.01 cent more than last week, when the value was R$ 4.53. Diesel also remained stable this week, with an average price of R$ 5.58, the same value recorded in the previous week.
