The average prices of hydrous ethanol rose in 22 states last week, ending on Saturday (7). Already in 3 other states and in the Federal District prices retreated. In Acre there was no calculation of quotations. The survey is by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) compiled by AE-Taxas.
In stations surveyed by the ANP across the country, the average price of ethanol rose 3.62% in the week compared to the previous week, from R$ 3.87 to R$ 4.01 per liter.
In São Paulo, the main producing and consuming State and with the most evaluated stations, the average quotation rose 4.23% in the week, from R$ 3.78 to R$ 3.94. Amapá recorded the biggest percentage drop in prices in the week, 2.44%, from R$ 4.92 to R$ 4.80.
Bahia was the state with the biggest increase in prices in the week, 11.39%, from R$ 4.04 to R$ 4.50 per liter.
The minimum price recorded in the week for ethanol at a gas station was R$ 3.28 per liter, in São Paulo, and the highest state price, R$ 6.37, was registered in Rio Grande do Sul.
The lowest state average price, R$ 3.86, was observed in Mato Grosso, while the highest average price was registered in Roraima, with R$ 4.85 per liter.
In the monthly comparison, the average price of biofuel in the country rose 4.16%. The State with the highest percentage increase in the period was Bahia, with a 15.09% increase in the period, from R$ 3.91 to R$ 4.50 per liter. The biggest percentage drop occurred in Amapá (-8.40%), from R$ 5.24 to R$ 4.80.
