EU: 80 tonnes of supplies and humanitarian bridge in Myanmar

As the European Commission announced today, the EU is channeling further aid to Myanmar, with a humanitarian bridge and supplies collected to be distributed in the country, which is in a major crisis after a 7.7 -magnitude earthquake. Specifically, the EU has launched a humanitarian bridge operation, with the first flight departing today from Copenhagen to Yangon. “The load of the 80 tonne -owned EU supplies, including scenes, children’s protection kit, health and water and sewerage kits, will be sent to UNICEF,” the Commission said today.
