“THE Ukraine it must receive all the military equipment it needs to defend its territory, and this of course means advanced air defense systems, but also other types of modern military equipment”, pointed out the president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. The Europeans were the first to supply military equipment to Ukraine shortly after the start of the conflict, European Council President Charles Michel recalled. He reminded that for the first time in its history, the EU is providing military equipment to a country through the European Peace Facility. Today, this aid has exceeded 3 billion. euros, in addition to the massive military aid given bilaterally by EU member states to Ukraine, emphasized the President of the European Council.
