EU: Second agreement with Pfizer finalized for 300 million doses of vaccines

The European Union has reached an agreement with Pfizer and BioNTech to purchase an additional 300 million doses of its coronavirus vaccine, Reuters reported Monday, citing a spokesman for the European Commission.

Regarding the matter, “discussions with the European Commission are ongoing,” he told Reuters a spokesperson for Pfizer.
