Eugenie of York has given birth: it is a boy (and the ninth grandson of Queen Elizabeth)

Eugenie of York became a mother for the first time. The princess, second child of Andrea at York e Sarah Ferguson, he announced it in the manner of the stars, posting on his Instagram account a photo of his firstborn’s hand, the only caption three blue hearts, to symbolize the new born and the parents.

A boy, as confirmed by the official Buckingham Palace account:
“His Royal Highness Princess Eugenie gave birth to a son today, February 9, 2020, at 8am.

55 at Portland Hospital, Jack Brooksbank was present, ”reads the brief note. And again: “The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Duke of York, Sara, Duchess of York, Ms and Mrs Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted.” Eugenie gave birth in the same hospital where she was born on March 23, 1990, and where Archie Harrison, the son of Harry and Meghan Markle, was also born. Both the princess and the baby, who weighs just over three kilos and 600 grams, are in excellent health.

That Eugenie’s birth was scheduled for February had leaked in recent days, so much so that she had surprised the princess’s participation in a call on Zoom over the weekend. The baby’s name is still top secret. The royals, you know, always wait a few days before making it known. Bookmakers have been running wild for a couple of months already, now that sex is known they will become unstoppable.
