Eugenie of York, unveiled the name of the son with the first official photos of the royal baby

«We want to introduce you August Philip Hawke Brooksbank“. With the usual ritual photos, published on the Instagram profile, the princess Eugenie of York and his wife Jack Brookbank officially showed the world their first child, born on February 9th, also announcing his name, kept top secret until now.

“Thanks for the many wonderful messages. Our hearts are filled with love for this little creature, words cannot express. We are thrilled to be able to share these photos with you », wrote the two visibly excited new parents as they show the little one wrapped in a blue blanket in perfect harmony with the father’s pullover holding him tightly in his arms.

There was no shortage of thanks to the midwife, author of the shots, as well as to all the staff who took care of the baby and the mother in the days following the caesarean delivery to which the princess was subjected for the back problems she had from little girl and for a complex surgery on the spine of which she still proudly preserves the scar, which she wanted to show to the world at the wedding, in autumn 2018.

Little August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, who weighed just over three kilos and 600 grams at the time of his birth, which took place at 8.00 on 9 February, is in excellent health and is currently Queen Elizabeth’s ninth great-grandson.
