Euler Hermes, the world’s leading commercial credit insurance company, has appointed Teresa Scarlatou as Country Manager of Euler Hermes Hellas. From April 1, following the approval of the regulatory authorities, Ms. Scarlatou will succeed the former CEO Andrea Misticoni. Based in Athens, Ms. Scarlatou will refer to Luca Burrafato, Head of Euler Hermes for the Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa.
Teresa Scarlatou will take over the role, having previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer of the Solunion Group, the consortium of the Euler Hermes and Mapfre Groups for Spain and Latin America. Prior to joining Solunion in 2016, he held senior positions in Economic, Commercial and Market Management at Euler Hermes Hellas.
Luca Burrafato noted: “Teresa’s assumption of the Country Manager role will enhance our strategic planning and mission in Greece. With her professionalism and strong market knowledge, she will undoubtedly lead Euler Hermes Hellas to a successful career in issues of development, transformation and customer-centric culture “.
Euler Hermes Hellas was founded in 1995 and employs 52 people at its headquarters in Athens and its offices in Thessaloniki. The company provides the market with a number of solutions to cover credit risk. Greece is part of Euler Hermes Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa Region, which covers 14 countries, including the Gulf Cooperation Council, Israel, Italy, Morocco, Tunisia, Portugal, South Africa and of Turkey.
