It’s not easy being Zendaya. The ex-enfante prodige has such a dense agenda that the commitment of the long seriality with Euphoria risks being postponed further. There is already talk of broadcasting postponed between 2023 and 2024, because first the actress has to finish filming the blockbuster film Dunes 2focused more on his character than seen in the first film.

It wouldn’t be new to Euphoria: two years have passed between the first and second seasons, thanks to the delays due to the emergency from Covid-19. Sam Levinson, the creator of the project, will be the only one to decide – together with Zendaya – the fate of the story, starting from the duration. So far, in fact, only season three has been confirmed.

Time ago a BuzzFeed Tom Holland had prayed for a cameo in the girlfriend series and fans continue to hope that it is one of the news in store for the third installment, of which very little is known. These are mainly hypotheses on the evolution of the plot, theories that only time will be able to verify. But that doesn’t stop you from trying.

The protagonist Rue (Zendaya) is at a crossroads: she has hit rock bottom and now she has to try to herself to be able to keep herself clean, even if the unknown factor remains about her career as a drug dealer, which hasn’t really taken off. Since Rue (Hunter Schafer) revealed her drug abuse to her mother, the relationship between the two has cracked and it is not clear whether there is a basis for rebuilding friendship or love.

Nate (Jacob Elordi) handed over to the police the evidence of his father’s relationship with some minors, but it is not clear whether the storyline will be resumed or is to be considered permanently archived. More optimistically, however, fans are hoping that the boy’s love triangle with Maddy (Alexa Demie) and Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) is set to go on for a long time to come. Between the two East Highland High stars it seems unlikely that the friendship will return to what it once was.
