Swiss Franc May Be Especially Sensitive to Eurozone Headwinds
While several geopolitical factors can trigger CHF buying, the Swiss Franc may be especially sensitive to Eurozone headwinds. Economic stagnation, budget constraints and strikes in Germany, along with calls for structural reforms in Europe's largest economy, could limit EUR/CHF's room for appreciation in the medium term.
We see room for further declines to the 0.9300 area in a 1-3 month outlook in the absence of a more dovish stance from the SNB.
