Euro 2020: 42,000 euros were raised for the little girl who cried in England – Germany and the family donates them

Exactly 42,000 euros were raised for the distressed girl who cried with her heart in the match between England and Germany. When the English scored their second goal, the camera caught her crying and comforting her dad.

The image went viral on social media, but some found room to spread racist hatred. That’s why the fundraiser was set up at JustGiving, “to show that not everyone is awful in Britain”.

The family, however, made a great move, did not keep the money: “In the interest of our daughter and our family, we wish to remain anonymous, but we want to thank everyone for your wonderful support. “Our daughter wants your generous donations to Unicef, knowing that your kindness will do you good.”

The insulting comments against the little girl on social media, mainly from the British, were answered by big names in football, including Gary Lineker and the former Liverpool striker, Stan Colimor.

The campaign for the money was set up by the British Joel Hughes, with the aim of raising 500 pounds. Soon, however, the amount reached .000 36,000, making many wonder why they are raising so much money.
