The Corporate Social Responsibility grid of the Initiative is developed in five pillars, with a far-sighted approach and a sense of social responsibility to support the family and reverse the low birth rate, in collaboration with recognized bodies, such as the NGO Mission of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, Live and Union Together for the child.
The report of the actions is indicative of the positive response of the society to the priorities of the Initiative and to the targeting of its planning that aims to create a network of support for young families, with emphasis on nationally sensitive areas. The overall actions of the Program are evolving and will be intensified in the coming months.
Among the actions is the implementation of a study on “Demographic problem in Greece: Challenges and policy proposals”. The study, fully funded by Eurobank, is implemented by reputable scientists and collaborators of the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research – IOBE and is expected to be completed in the coming months. The aim is to record the critical aspects of the demographic issue and how it is expected to affect aspects of the economy and society, employment, education, health and insurance in the coming years. But beyond the documentation, the aim of the study is to enrich the public debate on the required institutional interventions and proposals for policy measures that can mitigate the impact of the problem or its negative dynamics.
