For the third (3rd) consecutive year (2020-2021-2022), Eurobank is the only Greek bank to be included in the list of the twenty (20) Most Admired Companies in Greece, organized every year by Fortune magazine.
With the new distinction, achieved in a difficult environment due to the pandemic, Eurobank completes six (6) consecutive years of participation in the list of the 20 best companies in the country, thus rewarding the collective contribution of its Management and staff as well as strategy of the Bank, in an extremely critical period for the country.
The General Manager of Eurobank’s Human Resources Group, Mrs. Natassa Pashalis, received the “Most Admired Companies” award, on behalf of Eurobank, in the framework of the Most Admired Companies Exclusive Event held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel, in Vouliagmeni. In the context of the event, Ms. N. Paschali participated in a panel on the topic of achieving a competitive advantage through human resources management, where, among other things, she referred to the hybrid work model, recently adopted by the Bank, and its benefits, which is demonstrated and by its widespread acceptance by employees.
The survey by Fortune magazine is carried out in collaboration with KPMG Greece and is the largest survey on corporate reputation in the last eight (8) years in Greece. It is conducted based on the criteria & methodology of the American edition while it has evolved into a reliable institution for Greek business, highlighting companies that stand out in terms of quality, value creation, resource management, extroversion and corporate responsibility. This year, the best companies by industry, highlighted by the survey, receive the most votes in the criterion of “Human Resource Management”, with the criterion of “Innovation” second in votes and “Characteristics – Quality of Management” third.
More than 2,000 market executives (CEOs, CFOs, COOs, General Managers, Marketing Managers, Commercial Managers, HR Directors, Sales Directors and Corporate Communication Managers) from 380 companies, with a turnover greater than 50 million euros and from all sectors of the economy.
The best companies, in their sector, were selected based on Fortune’s nine (9) criteria, which were Innovation, Human Resource Management, Corporate Resource Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Management Characteristics – Quality, Financial Soundness, Medium- to long-term Investment Value, the Quality of Products & Services Offered, Extroversion / Competitiveness.
