Despite the war in Ukraine and Covid’s insistence, Europe’s major airlines are optimistic about the summer season, saying that tourist traffic to Greece is moving to pre-2019 levels.
According to the financial newspaper Les Échos, during a meeting between the heads of the main European airlines, members of the “Airlines For Europe” association with the specialized media “FlightGlobal”, despite the “opposite winds”, the offer of seats of European airlines has returned to 86% of the level of 2019 and demand to about 80%.
For some countries, such as Greece and Portugal, the pre-crisis level has already been reached, the report said.
