European Central Bank: Slowing inflation increases chances of rate cut in June – Madis Muller

The head of economic policy at the European Central Bank (ECB), Madis Mullerdeclared on Friday that “slowing inflation raises chances of rate cut in Juneeither”.

Muller added that “there are more signs that the economy is strengthening.”

At the time of writing, the EUR/USD pair is testing five-month lows near 1.0675, down 0.42% on the day.
