The European Green Pass enters into force on the 1st of July and allows you to travel within the European Union. The Commission today clarified the rules it proposes for the document, officially digital Covid certificate of the EU, starting from two bases: the easing of some rigidities in the rules on the one hand and on the other what has been defined as an “emergency brake” in the event of increasing cases or new variations.
14 DAYS
The Pass is valid after vaccination is completed. After 14 days of the last dose, people can travel without further testing and without quarantines. It applies to the second dose of AstraZeneca, Pfizer / BioNTech and Moderna and the first of J & J. For those who have had Covid it should apply after a single dose of vaccine. If a state accepts only one dose to obtain the vaccination pass this should also apply to the European certification.
TEST
Rapid tests are valid for 48 hours and molecular tests for 72 hours. Those who are not vaccinated and have not had Covid must present the swab done within these times.
180 DAYS
The certificate certifying the healing is valid for 180 days. In this case, those who have recovered should be exempted from testing or quarantine.

MINORS
No tests for children under 6 and no quarantine for all minors if family members do not have to do it.
BRAKE
The emergency brake consists in the possibility for states to increase the limitations in case of worsening of the epidemiological conditions. There would also be checks for vaccinated and cured.
MAP
For the Commission, the coloring system of the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control should be authentic. No restrictions for travelers coming from green areas, a test before departure for those coming from orange areas, quarantine or test for those coming from red ones. Non-essential travel from dark red zones is not recommended and all testing and quarantine obligations are in place.
EXTRA UE
Non-EU citizens with proof of vaccination may also have the pass. The Commission has also asked for reciprocity for the European pass to be valid abroad.
