The competent European regulatory authority will start investigating next week whether clinical trials of the Russian vaccine against COVID-19 Sputnik V followed the global clinical and scientific standards, the Financial Times writes today, as reported by APE.
His research European Medicines Agency (EMA) as sources close to the regulatory approval process told the FT that the Sputnik V tests were not conducted in accordance with ethical rules.
“There was no pressure (on the participants) and Sputnik V responds to all clinical practices,” Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), told the newspaper.
