A new survey by Accor highlights the opportunities and challenges from the continued development of tourism. Europeans, according to survey results, predict they will travel more often and spend more money on travel by 2025. However, the industry is called upon to address the sustainability challenges arising from this growth by helping travelers transform their good intentions into good choices. The survey, which was conducted among 8,000 travelers from seven European countries, reveals that over half of respondents (53%) expect to spend more on travel in 2025 compared to 2024, while just 10% foresee a decrease in their travel spending budget.
