The countdown to the 66th Eurovision Song Contest dedicated to peace has begun, or rather begins Thursday 7 April at 10 am, the exact moment when the tickets for the event go on sale. The appointment at the Pala Olimpico in Turin, from 9 to 14 May, brings the most chameleonic talents of the Old Continent to the stage.

The event, conducted by an exceptional trio (Mika, Laura Pausini and Alessandro Cattelan), will see the winners of the Sanremo Festival 2022Mahmood and Blanco with the song Chillswhile Achille Lauro will be the standard-bearer for the Republic of San Marino.

The public can book three types of shows on Ticketone (with a maximum of four tickets per reservation), taking into account that the places for the semifinals and final are limited. The Live Shows go live on TV from 8 pm for three evenings: Tuesday 10 and Thursday 12 May (first and second semifinal) and Saturday 14 (final). The Jury Shows, that is the jury show, concern a complete dress rehearsal during which the juries vote for the artists and are staged on Monday 9, Wednesday 11 and Friday 13 May. Family Shows allow families to participate in the last general rehearsals (Tuesday 10, Thursday 12 and Saturday 14 May).
The show is broadcast on Rai Uno both with the two semifinals (10 and 12 May) and with the final (on the 14th) but also on Rai Radio Due (with streaming on RaiPlay) and foresees the participation of 40 countries including Ukraine but with the exception of Russia. The commentary on the show is by Gabriele Corsi, Cristiano Malgioglio and Carolina Di Domenico.
