EUROZONA: Preliminary inflation is stabilized in 2.2% annual in April compared to 2.1% planned

He Harmonized consumer prices index (IAPC) increased 2.2% year -on -year in Aprilat the same rate that was observed in March, according to official data published by Eurostat on Friday. The data has exceeded the market consensus, which expected a 2.1% reading in the informed period.

The underlying IAPC, which excludes food and energy, rose 2.7% in April compared to an acceleration of 2.4% in March, exceeding 2.5% expectations.
