EUROZONE GDP rises 0.1% intertrmetral in the fourth quarter of 2024, exceeding the preliminary estimate

The Eurozone economy experienced a 0.1% growth in the quarter until December 2024, exceeding the preliminary reading of 0%, as showed on Friday the second estimate published by Eurostat.

The gross domestic product (GDP) The block increased at an annual rate of 0.9% in the fourth quarter against the initial estimate of 0.9%, coinciding with the market consensus.

Meanwhile, the change of employment From the Eurozone for the fourth quarter, it stood at 0.1% intertrimestral (qoq) and 0.6% interannual (yoy).

Market reaction

Eurozone data fails to provide a new boost to the euro. At the time of the publication, the EUR/USD quotes 0.12% higher in the day at 1,0478.
