Eurozone: Slightly lower to 7.4% inflation revised in March

The inflation rate in the Eurozone was marginally lower in March compared to the initial measurement, Eurostat announced today.

In particular, according to the European Statistical Office, inflation in the countries of the common euro exchange rate stood at 7.4% on an annual basis and 2.4% on a monthly basis in March, compared to 7.5% and 2.5% respectively. had been mentioned before.

In the individual data, energy products had their share of rising prices by 44.4% (compared to 44.7% originally measured) and unprocessed foods (including cereals) by 7.8%, as had been reported.

Excluding raw food and energy, inflation would be at 3.2%, still far from the ECB’s target of 2% in the medium term.

It is noted that the measurement for Greece remained unchanged at 8%.
