With high temperatures in Rio de Janeiro, tourists took advantage of Saturday (26) to walk along the shore and dive into the sea. In Copacabana, in the South Zone, the thermal sensation reached 32°C. The intense heat was reflected in the crowded sands and in the sea with many bathers.
On a short walk along the beaches, it is possible to hear English, Spanish and French speakers. Among the Brazilian accents are mainly those of São Paulo and Minas Gerais.
Hotel occupancy exceeded expectations and exceeded 80% occupancy, according to the Rio de Janeiro Hotel Association. Ipanema and Leblon were the most sought after neighborhoods, with 86.47%. Followed by neighborhoods like Barra da Tijuca, Recreio and São Conrado with 82.47%, Leme and Copacabana with 74.95%.
Without the traditional blocks of streets and parades in Marquês de Sapucaí, tourists look for bars, restaurants and beaches.
According to Alerta Rio, the maximum on Saturday reaches 33°C. There is no forecast of rain until Wednesday (2) for the city of Rio. Temperatures remain stable, with a maximum of up to 36°C.
