To quickly sell a smartphone, a quarter of Russians resort to social networks. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the VKontakte “Ads” service and the research company ResearchMe.
As Izvestia reports with reference to a new study, every fourth Russian surveyed, having bought or received a new smartphone as a gift, sells his previous gadget. And more often than not, they post ads for sale on ad services and ask friends if they want to buy a smartphone. Also, users create ads for the sale of smartphones in their social networks and even ask friends to share the publication so that as many users as possible can see it.
It is noted that users of the “Ads” service on the VKontakte social network share their announcement of the sale of a smartphone in thematic and urban communities. Most often, owners of iPhone and Huawei smartphones resort to this. But on their wall, users mainly post ads for the sale of gadgets from brands such as Xiaomi, Samsung and Nokia.
Every fifth survey participant at least once bought a smartphone from friends or acquaintances, and 12% received them as a gift from friends. Moreover, if we talk about selling an old smartphone to a friend, then every second Russian is ready to give a gadget for half the price or with a good discount.
