New romance in the air! Or at least almost that. This Thursday (19), Sony Pictures released the trailer for “Everyone But You”, a romantic comedy starring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell.
The film is a retelling of “Much Ado About Nothing”, a comedy by none other than William Shakespeare. In the modern adaptation, Bea and Ben, two true archenemies from their college days, are forced to live together for a while after receiving an invitation to a mutual friend’s wedding.
However, the two end up accepting the difficult mission of pretending they are a couple after an unusual event. Will they be able to put their differences aside and convince those present?
In addition to Sweeney and Powell, the cast also includes Dermot Mulroney (“My Best Friend’s Wedding”), Michelle Hurd (“Star Trek: Picard”), Alexandra Shipp (“Tick, Tick… Boom!”), Darren Barnet (“Never Have I Ever…”), Rachel Griffiths (“Six Feet Under”), Bryan Brown (“Australia”), rapper GaTa, Hadley Robinson (“Little Women”) and Joe Davidson (“Neighbors”).
The film opens on December 22nd in the United States and there is still no set date for it to arrive in Brazil.
