In “VALUE EVERYTHING” the powerful Odete Roitman (Debora Bloch) blamed her own son, Afonso (Humberto Carrão) to leak confidential data from the company TCA in the press. Among the accusations, the matriarch stated that the heir would have shared the information after not having his proposals, directed to the social and environmental responsibility, approved by her.
Disgusted by the crime, she demanded that Marco Aurélio (Alexandre Nero) opened an investigation to prove that he was certain of his conviction. The boy, however, will be acquitted. “Are you sure what you’re telling me, Marco Aurélio? This is an issue that involves my family,” he will say who is behind the leakage.
“The investigation left no doubt, Odete. It was not Afonso who leaked the TCA data for the press,” the employee will guarantee. “I thought you would be happy to find out that it had not been Afonso,” he will add as he is surprised by her reaction.
“Sometimes it’s hard to choose: to be betrayed by a child to unfairly accuse a child of betrayal? I don’t know. I don’t know not to be the victim, but my reputation as a mother is already so bad that in this case it was giving me this comfort,” Roitman will explain.
But after all, who leaked the data?
According to the TCA department, it will be a fault of an old employee who was frustrated, asked for an increase and did not get what he wanted.
