EVGA Z590 Dark motherboard introduced

EVGA has unveiled the Z590 Dark E-ATX motherboard based on the Intel Z590 chipset. In the description of the new product, the manufacturer highlights a 21-phase power subsystem, support for video cards with a PCIe Gen4 interface and M.2 NVMe solid-state drives. The cooling system includes copper radiators and two fans.

Next to the 90 ° rotated LGA 1200 processor socket, the board has two DDR4 DIMM slots that can accommodate up to 64GB of DDR4-5333 memory. The equipment of the product includes two PCIe Gen4 x16 slots (when both are used, they work in x8 mode) and a PCIe x4 slot. There are eight SATA 6 Gb / s ports and two M.2 slots for connecting drives. One of them has a PCIe 4.0 interface, the other – PCIe 3.0. In addition, there is a U.2 SSD connector.

The list of USB ports includes four USB 3.2 Gen2 ports routed to USB-A connectors, a USB 3.2 Gen2 port routed to a USB-C connector, a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 port, also routed to a USB-C connector, and four USB 2.0 ports. Wired network connectivity is provided by two 2.5GbE ports. A module with Wi-Fi 6 and BT 5.2 support is responsible for the wireless connection. The board is equipped with DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 video outputs. The picture is completed by a multichannel (7.1) audio subsystem based on the Realtek 1220 codec.
