Ex-wife of suicide bomber dies after two weeks in hospital

Daiane Dias, ex-wife of the perpetrator of the explosions in front of the STF last month, died in the early hours of this Tuesday. She had been hospitalized since November 17th, when she set fire to the house of Francisco Wanderley Luiz, known as “Tiu França”.

Daiane was injured in the incident and was rescued by a neighbor, who reported to the CNN that the woman had burns on her body when she was removed from the house. She was taken to a nearby hospital with third-degree burns to her body.

There was an expectation that Daiane would give a statement about the explosions caused by her ex-husband in front of the STF when she left the hospital. When contacted, the Federal Police said it would not comment on the case.
