The exchange flow for the year up to February 11 was positive at US$ 6.570 billion, informed the Central Bank (BC) this Wednesday (16). In the same period last year, the result was negative by US$ 6.180 billion.
The net inflow through the financial channel this year until February 11 was US$ 10.158 billion. The result is the result of investments in the amount of US$ 62.886 billion and withdrawals totaling US$ 52.728 billion.
The segment includes direct and portfolio foreign investments, profit remittances and interest payments, among other operations.
In foreign trade, the annual balance accumulated until February 11 was negative by US$ 3.589 billion, with imports of US$ 25.204 billion and exports of US$ 21.616 billion.
Exports include US$ 3.550 billion in Advance on Exchange Contracts (ACC), US$ 4.112 billion in Advance Payment (PA) and US$ 13.953 billion in other inflows.
February
After ending January with net inflows of US$ 1.493 billion, the country registered a positive foreign exchange flow of US$ 5.077 billion in February, up to the 11th, according to the Central Bank (BC).
The financial channel presented net inflows of US$ 4.547 billion in the period. This is the result of contributions totaling US$ 19.571 billion and withdrawals totaling US$ 15.024 billion.
In foreign trade, the balance from February to the 11th was positive by US$ 530 million, with imports of US$ 6.432 billion and exports of US$ 6.962 billion. Exports include US$ 1.227 billion in Advances on Exchange Contracts, US$ 1.723 billion in Advance Payment and US$ 1.227 billion in other inflows.
Week
The foreign exchange flow registered last week (from February 7th to 11th) to Brazil was positive by US$ 845 million.
The financial channel presented a net inflow of US$ 693 million in the week, the result of contributions in the amount of US$ 9.211 billion and remittances totaling US$ 8.518 billion.
In foreign trade, the balance last week was positive by US$ 152 million, with imports of US$ 3.856 billion and exports of US$ 4.008 billion. Exports include US$ 674 million in ACC, US$ 1.225 billion in Advance Payment and US$ 2.109 billion in other inflows.
