The foreign exchange flow registered in 2022, until March 4, to Brazil was positive by US$ 8.340 billion, the Central Bank reported this Wednesday (9). In the same period last year, the result was positive at US$ 7.286 billion. In the closed year of 2021, there was a net inflow of US$ 6.134 billion.
In 2022, the financial channel showed net inflows of US$ 8.839 billion in the period. This is the result of contributions in the amount of US$ 96.151 billion and withdrawals totaling US$ 87.312 billion. The segment includes direct and portfolio foreign investments, profit remittances and interest payments, among other operations.
In foreign trade, the balance in 2022, up to March 4, was negative by US$ 499 million, with imports of US$ 37.246 billion and exports of US$ 36.747 billion.
Exports include US$ 5.959 billion in Advance on Exchange Contracts (ACC), US$ 6.731 billion in Advance Payment (PA) and US$ 24.057 billion in other inflows.

The financial channel showed net outflows of US$ 119 million in the period. This is the result of contributions totaling US$7.549 billion and withdrawals totaling US$7.668 billion.
In foreign trade, the balance in March, up to the 4th, was positive at US$ 626 million, with imports of US$ 2.400 billion and exports of US$ 3.026 billion. Exports include US$522 million in Advances on Exchange Contracts, US$711 million in Advance Payments and US$1.793 billion in other inflows.
