We are less than two months away from Christmas and a moving new one advertising Disney is coming to remind us. The new campaign combines the magic of the holidays with the realism of today.
The three-minute spot titled “The Stepdad” is part of Disney’s celebratory campaign “From Our Family to Yours” in support of the “Make a wish” charity.
It’s a sequel to the 2020 Christmas ad. It begins by showing architect Mike leaving his apartment shortly before Christmas, with his dog and moving into the house of his partner, Nicole with her children.
Mike tries to be loved by his new family as a “father”, in their first Christmas with the help of Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Olaf, Spider-Man’s Baz Laitgar.
The campaign once again supports its partner Disney “Make a Wish”, helping the charity to make wishes come true for children with serious illnesses, according to the Athens News Agency.
“We are proud of our long-term partnership with Disney and look forward to participating in this year’s campaign,” said Make-A-Wish International President and CEO Luciano Manzo.
