Executive jet falls into the water and leaves five injured in the USA

The federal aviation administration is investigating a small jet that left the track in North Bend, Oregon, United States and fell into the water, leaving five injured.

The HA-420, an executive jet built by Honda, was flying from St. George, Utah, to the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport, when he skidded off the track around 6am (local time) on Monday (7) in the morning.

The aircraft stopped in the water about 30 meters after the end of the track.

All five people on board, including the pilot, had minor injuries and were taken to an ambulance hospital, the airport reported in a statement.

The plane was allowed to approach using radio signals to guide the landing, but the pilot never told controllers that they were on the ground, according to the Air traffic control audio captured by Liveatc.net.

This airport did not have a control tower with employees at that time, so the controllers located elsewhere called the airport to see if it had landed.
