Exhibition about Vinicius de Moraes
Starting this Friday (21), the exhibition “Vinicius de Moraes – for all my life” is available at Farol Santander.
With more than 200 unpublished and original items, the exhibition occupies two floors, the 19th and 20th, of the building in the historic center of São Paulo. It is made up of the Música, Poesia and Cidades nuclei, as well as a space entirely dedicated to the children’s work Arca de Noé.
Among the highlights of the show are: the work of Cândido Portinari, “Portrait of Vinicius” (1938), first shown in its original screen; manuscripts with preliminary versions of several songs, such as “Enough of Saudade” and “Girl from Ipanema” ; and the work “Poetry” a very rare book with a numbered edition of only 20 copies.
The exhibition runs until February 26, 2023.

Mario de Andrade Festival
From Friday (21) to Sunday (23), the City of São Paulo promotes the second edition of the Mario de Andrade Festival , with the theme “Literature and Arts in Pauliceia 2022”. The event bets on the diversity of Brazilian literature and brings lectures, debates, workshops, soirees and slams with artists from all over the country, in addition to concerts, performances and theatrical shows.
Among the highlights of the event are the Slam championship, at 4 pm, 6 pm and 8 pm, in the Mário de Andrade library; the reading table entitled “Love of Books” with the actress Isabel Teixeira and the educator Bel Santos Mayer at Praça das Artes, at 7 pm; then the show Marina Lima at 20:30, at Praça das Artes.
On Saturday (22), the composer and teacher Jose Miguel Wisnik and the astrologer Julia de Carvalho Hansena talk about astrology, at 3:30 pm, in the Mário de Andrade library; the table “Verses and Rhymes” at 18:00, brings Rashid , GOG and the composer Neighborhood Jump symbolizing two generations of national hip-hop, in the opening of Praça das Artes.
On the last day, Ferrez , founder of the Literature Marginal label, presents a literary panel on the terrace of the Mário de Andrade Library, at 4 pm, to talk about his creative process and how to be an independent writer; and Mateus Hallelujah performs at Praça das Artes at 7pm.

São Paulo Energy Museum
The São Paulo Energy Museum reopens on October 25 after two months of closure.
The museum returns to activity with the exhibition “São Paulo through the lens of Gaensly” . The exhibition is a true journey through time through the streets of the city with a selection of the largest known photographic collection of the Swiss photographer Guilherme Gaensly preserved by the Energy and Sanitation Foundation.
Another exhibition that will be available on site is the “Energy Times” . The exhibition presents important moments in the formation and expansion of the São Paulo electric sector, showing the complexity of energy implementation and its consequences in the capital, as well as the current challenges of the sector. It is also a trip back to the past, with the collection of the process of formation of the São Paulo hydroelectric system and the transformations that occurred in the residences, with the arrival of equipment such as electric stoves, refrigerators, which were a true revolution.

Exhibition on South Korean fashion
An exhibition on traditional Korean clothing and attire worn by K-Pop artists will open at the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil on October 28.
Fans of Korean culture will have the opportunity to get to know a little more about the country’s traditional style of clothing, Hanbok, as well as the possibility of wearing some special costumes.
To help the public better understand the country’s culture through fashion, various styles and configurations of Hanbok will be presented, such as its everyday use, which includes jeogori and pants, casual wear, wedding wear and children’s wear.
In addition, among the costumes presented, there will be Hanboks used in presentations by K-Pop groups, such as BTS, Blackpink and Oh My Girl .
The space will have a special place to take pictures.
The exhibition will be on view until December 31, 2022.
