The existing energy auctions A-1 and A-2, held this Friday (2), negotiated an average of 205 megawatts (MW), totaling R$ 400 million in contracts for supply between January 2023 and December 2025, according to information of the Chamber of Commercialization of Electric Energy (CCEE).
Existing energy auctions, types A-1 and A-2, are intended to serve the regulated market and serve for distributors to replace contracts in the short term.
In the A-1 event, 61 average MW of energy were traded, with a discount of 28.72%. The companies Indra Energia, Libertha and Safira sold energy, and the distributors Celpa and Cemar, from the Equatorial Energia group, and CPFL Jaguari, from CPFL, were buyers.
In the A-2 auction, 144 average MW were sold, with a discount of 12.03%. Delta, Gold, São Roque, Stima and Trinity won the dispute and should direct energy to Enel Brasil’s distributors Celpa, Cemar and Coelce.
