Expanscape has updated the configuration of the “laptop” with seven screens

The British company Expanscape, which showed an exotic mobile computer with seven displays a year ago, has updated its configuration. The current variant is called the A7 M3 Prototype.

As before, the “laptop” is equipped with four 17.3 “4K displays and three 7” Full HD displays. However, now it can be based on an AMD Ryzen 9 3950x or Intel Core i9 10900K processor, supplemented by an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card. The developers promise to eventually switch to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 model if they can meet the specified power consumption limit. The amount of RAM with the AMD Ryzen 9 3950x processor is 64 GB, with the Intel Core i9 10900K processor – 128 GB. In both cases, DDR4-2933 memory is used.

The computer has two slots for M.2 SSDs with NVMe support. They install a Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD with a capacity of 2 TB each. In addition, there are two 2.5-inch SATA drive bays (there may be one such drive in an AMD-based system).
