At least four people were killed and more than 30 were injured on Thursday after a fireworks warehouse in Karachi in Pakistan. The warehouse, as well as some nearby stores, were wrapped in flames after the initial explosion, which followed by several smaller explosions, forcing locals to leave their homes to be saved. “I thought a lot of bombs had exploded,” resident Akimb Khan told reporters. The strong explosion was enough to break the windows of neighboring stores, causing passers -by injuring the fragments, according to Reuters. According to Police Sumaya Tariq, at least 34 injured were taken to hospitals, four of whom succumbed to their wounds overnight.
