A hospital in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, was the target of bombing this Thursday (19), which left at least 13 victims.
The air attack decimated an entire block of the city, as reported by CNN the general director of Gaza hospitals and director of Al-Nasser Medical Center, Dr. Mohammad Zaqout.
“An entire block was targeted and destroyed by airstrikes this morning, which killed 13 people from the al-Majayda and al-Batta families and Fares families in Khan Yunis. Another 25 are missing under the rubble,” Zaqout said.
Rescue teams are “working tirelessly” to find those missing, he added.
Palestinian Raafat al-Nakhal moved south from Gaza City to Khan Yunis, in search of security. Instead, he says he has faced continued Israeli airstrikes.
“There is no safe place in Gaza. You have to be ready to die,” he said, as he tried to dust off his partially damaged car and repeated, “Thank God.”
