The submission of applications for the “OPAP Forward” program is extended by one week. The interested small and medium enterprises have a deadline until April 11, 2022 to register for the 5th cycle of the program.
The submission of applications is done electronically through www.opapcsr.gr and will be completed at 12:00 on the night of Monday, April 11.
The “OPAP Forward” program is aimed at developing small and medium enterprises from all sectors of the economy. Particular emphasis is placed on those sectors where Greece has a competitive advantage, such as tourism, agricultural production, food and beverage industry, as well as on sectors with growth prospects, such as new technologies.
Complete guidance in 10 new companies
Dozens of entrepreneurs from all over Greece have already expressed interest in claiming one of the 10 new positions of “OPAP Forward”. The 10 companies that will be selected to participate in the 5th cycle, will receive comprehensive guidance from experienced market executives and program mentors, in order to grow, increase their turnover and create new jobs.
The new cycle of “OPAP Forward” will be attended by a total of 50 small and medium enterprises. The complete range of services they will receive includes:
– Complete guidance through a network of successful entrepreneurs and high-ranking market executives
– Training seminars in areas such as strategy, financial and human resource management, marketing and sales, branding and communication
– Access to financial instruments in cooperation with the National Bank
– Access to international markets
– Networking actions both with the other participants and with other entrepreneurs
In one of the networking actions, which took place a few days ago, the entrepreneurs of “OPAP Forward” referred to the benefits they have gained from their participation in the program.
Increase turnover and boost employment
To date, 59 companies from all over Greece have benefited from their participation in the “OPAP Forward” program, which is implemented in collaboration with the international non-profit organization supporting entrepreneurship Endeavor Greece.
The small and medium-sized enterprises that participated in the program in the previous years, managed to create 2,260 new direct jobs while, through the collaborations that developed, they support 20,249 new indirect jobs. At the same time, they increased their turnover by a total of 242 million euros.
