The facilitation of freight transport between Greece and Ukraine is extended until December 31, 2022 in order to deal with the effects of the crisis in Ukraine, by the decision of the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, in charge of Transport, Michalis Papadopoulos.
Based on the relevant decision, it is permitted to carry out bilateral and “transit” transport of goods within the country, by companies established in Ukraine, without a transit permit form provided for in the Greece-Ukraine Road Transport Agreement (November 11, 1996) which was ratified by law. 2506/1997.
Also, the validity of the technical inspection certificates, which are accompanying documents of the EDYM licenses for motor vehicles and trailers of the Ukrainian transport companies, which had expired since February 1, 2022, has been extended.
