An emergency meeting of the crisis management team was convened by the Minister of Environment and Energy, Costas Skrekas, today, Wednesday, as the Russian ultimatum expires on March 31 for the payment of gas supply contracts in rubles.
According to RIS, the purpose of the meeting is to evaluate alternative scenarios for the adequacy of the country’s gas supply in the event of a power outage from Russia.
The meeting will be attended by the President of RAE, Athanasios Dagoumas, the Chairman of the Crisis Management Team and the 2nd Vice President of RAE, Dimitris Fourlaris, the CEO of DESFA, Maria Rita Galli, the CEO, the Director of DEPA, Managing Director of PPC, George Stassis, the Deputy Managing Director of PPC, Ioannis Kopanakis and a representative of IPTO management.
