Extraordinary withdrawal of up to R$ 1,000 from the FGTS starts this Wednesday
Caixa Econômica Federal starts releasing this Wednesday (20) the extraordinary withdrawal from the Severance Indemnity Fund (FGTS) of up to R$ 1,000. The withdrawal date varies according to each worker’s birthday month. Born in January who have FGTS accounts can withdraw the amounts this Wednesday.
Those born in December are the last to be entitled to the redemption, which will be released from June 15th. Withdrawal values are available until December 15th of this year.
STJ maintains conviction of former minister José Dirceu
The 5th Panel of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) confirmed, this Tuesday (19), the monocratic decision of the judge summoned Leopoldo de Arruda Raposo and maintained the conviction of the former minister of the Civil House José Dirceu, in the government of Luiz Inácio. Lula da Silva (PT), in a process that investigated illegal conduct at Petrobras in the context of Operation Lava Jato.
In a decision of the Federal Regional Court of the 4th Region (TRF-4), Dirceu had been sentenced to 27 years and four months in prison, in an initial closed regime for crimes of criminal association, active corruption and money laundering.
In the current opinion, Raposo reduced the sentence to 27 years and one month of imprisonment, also in a closed initial regime, considering that the negative assessment of the circumstances of the crime of money laundering was inappropriate.
Authorities will try to evacuate civilians from Mariupol as shelling continues
