We are talking about eyebrows and, according to research conducted by Superdrug, an English retailer of health and beauty products, make it possible to understand the region of origin of women born in the United Kingdom.

Experts examined 2 million based on requests made to brow bars located in their local stores. According to these theories, while the eye is the window to the heart, the eyebrow indicates one’s nature and temperament.
Forms and proportions are innumerable, but it is possible to identify at least 8 main types. Let’s find out what they reveal (of course this is a game, because you know, you don’t judge a book by the design of the cover!) And what are the suggestions of Roberta Piacente, art director QStudio Makeup-Rp and founder of the homonymous Academy. The expert advises not to modify them excessively: «It is always better to respect the natural form, and essentially intervene to give balance and light to the look».

HALF MOON EYEBROW
What they revealThey are associated with very kind people who always think about the needs of others. When they make a decision, they worry that it is fair and, therefore, a satisfaction for all.
Makeup idea: «It does not require much maintenance and they have the ability to create a precise optical effect, which“ shortens ”and makes the pointed chin or nose less angular», underlines Roberta Piacente.

STRAIGHT EYEBROWS
What they reveal: they often correspond to people who do not act on impulse, but always prefer to follow a logic before translating a thought into action.
Makeup idea: “They do not need to be retouched, and are especially ideal for long-shaped faces because their horizontal line creates the illusion of a more harmonious-looking face,” says the make-up artist.

EYEBROWS WITH ARCHED APEX
What they reveal: Known as the “courtesan’s eyebrows” they were a favorite of emperors in Ancient China as they are pleasant and attractive. They reveal individuals who tend to be perfectionists. They often struggle with decisions to make because they strive to make the right one and can be hard on themselves.

THICK EYEBROWS
What they reveal: full and thick identify people with self-esteem who feel they can understand anything. Guided by logical and linear thinking, they are lovers of physical activity.

THIN EYEBROWS

«I always recommend to reconstruct the shape with the hair-by-hair technique using two pencils, one taupe and the other brown, and with an ultra-fine tip. The strokes must be very accurate and shades with red pigments must be avoided, which would make the final result unnatural », Piacente recommends.

HIGH EYEBROWS
What they reveal: known as the “queen’s eyebrows” and belong to people who have a taste and aesthetics for beauty and luxury, they indicate a sweet, family-oriented character and tend to do anything in advance.

Makeup idea: “It is essential to remove the hairs in the central part, and make sure that the beginning coincides with the inner corner of the eye”, concludes Piacente.
