A recent study by EY in collaboration with Young China Group LLC, entitled “The First Global Generation: Adulthood Reimagined for a Changing World” records the key priorities and milestones for Gen Z with the desire for financial independence (87%), their consequences with their desires and their values (84%) (60%) to stand out. The research is based on answers of 10,000 young people aged 18 to 34 in ten countries and captures how the first generation that has grown fully in the internet and social media era redefines the concept of adulthood.
